SOLAR ECLIPSE EXERCISE – Law Of Attraction Made Easy

By now, you’ve probably heard of the Law of Attraction, and how it can help you to create the life you desire.

This is not meant to be a formal discussion of LOA (what we call it in “the business”).  But it IS a guide to using it during the Total Solar Eclipse that we will experience on July 21-22, 2009.

We Are One

Apparently, everything is connected.  Mystics have said it, and science is proving it.

When we look at a person, a plant, or even a rock, they may seem very different than us, but they are made of the same “stuff”  – molecules, atoms, sub-atomic particles, etc…

Why Does the Law Work?

Because we are all connected, at the deepest level, it’s possible to have a mutual attraction between yourself, and something that you want.

Why Doesn’t the Law Work?

As an astrologer, I work with personality traits, and windows of opportunity.

We’re all “wired” differently.  We have different tastes, preferences, abilities, sensitivities, etc… If you want to attract something, and it just won’t come, it probably isn’t right for you.

It’s also possible that something won’t happen for you because it isn’t the right time.

The Simple Steps are:

1. Write down what you DON’T want (ex. I don’t want to be unhealthy)
2. Write down what you DO want (ex. I want to be healthy)
3. Write a statement: “I allow myself to be healthy.”
4. Keep a journal of evidence that what you want is happening (eating better, meeting health-conscious people, someone invites you to the gym, etc…

What’s Next?

As far as I know, you go about your normal life, seizing opportunities as they come up, and walking through the open doors.

Isn’t that how you’ve accomplished everything else?

Something very special is happening tonight – the longest Eclipse of this Century.

What’s a Solar Eclipse?

A Solar Eclipse is when the Sun and the Moon are aligned in a way that let’s the Moon block out some of the Sun’s light.

A Total Solar Eclipse happens when the Moon is so close to the Earth, and so tightly aligned with the Sun, that it only allows a ring of sunlight to be seen.

Why Does It Matter?

The Sun and Moon are the natural models of  relationships.  The Sun represents the creative, masculine principle, and the Moon represents the receptive, feminine principle.

In a relationship, there is often one partner (the feminine one) who has an intuitive understanding of the changing needs of the relationship, and one partner (the masculine one) who responds to those needs.

There are also masculine and feminine times in a relationship.  Sometimes, we have to be more proactive in the direction of  our relationships.  Other times, it’s best to relax, and enjoy things the way they are.

This Eclipse marks an extremely receptive time, where we can learn from listening to our partner, and our feelings, and make necessary changes.

Total Solar Eclipse in Cancer

Cancer is the astrological sign associated with feelings.  The last 30 days have been all about connecting with our emotions, and understanding what makes us feel vulnerable, and changes we need to make to feel safe and secure.

The next 30 days are an opportunity for us to be “super responsive”.  We already know what we feel, and the changes we would like to make, so it’s time to make those changes,  and put them into effect.

How Can You Make Changes?

What if you REALLY hate the way your girlfriend drives, and every time you get in the car with her, you distract her with your criticisms, and start an argument?

First, you need to recognize that even though you feel uncomfortable with her driving, you probably hate it worse when you don’t talk for days after an argument.

Next, you need to acknowledge how much you hate fighting with someone you love, and that you don’t want to be so critical of them.

Then, you need to decide that you want to be respectful of your girlfriend, even if she doesn’t drive the way you want her to.

Then, give yourself permission to be respectful even if you feel uncomfortable.  And pay attention to how powerful you feel once you give yourself permission to respond in a respectful way.

Then, pay attention to the fact that even though you hate your girlfriend’s driving, unless she is causing accidents, or banging up the car, she always gets where she’s going without a problem.  Imagine being in the car with her, and being respectful, because you know that she is going to reach her destination just as usual.

So, over the next few weeks, pay attention to your feelings, and know that they are signals of things within yourself that need to change.  6 months from now, you will be surprised at your ability to adapt.
